RAM is a provider of state of the art drills and drill motors with construction, dental, podiatrist and cosmetic applications. The company had been acquired by new owners and it was my task to modernize and re-brand.

After receiving feedback from my logo design questionnaire the design brief was clear. The new logo needed to be modern and simple yet sophisticated. They wanted it to reflect professionalism, quality, strength and innovation. There was also a request to use inspiration from the previous logos which featured a spinning motor wheel and a ram (below).

The RAM logo is a modern solution. The swirling icon used in the RAM logo is an elegant way to portray both the ideas of a ram and a drill simultaneously. The color theme of red, black and white evokes technical strength and has a timeless nature.
